NEWARK— FBI agents have arrested three New York men on charges stemming from the armed robberies of two cellphone stores in New Jersey.

Twenty-nine-year-old Terrell McQueen, 29-year-old Carl Williams and 27-year-old Eric Williams are charged with conspiracy to commit Hobbs Act robbery and using a firearm. All are from Brooklyn.

Federal authorities say Carl Williams and a conspirator tied up employees of a T-Mobile store in Linden on Sept. 20 and stole 50 to 60 cellphones.

Two men then tied up employees and robbed a T-Mobile store in Woodbridge on Oct. 2, making off with approximately 40 phones.

Prosecutors say the three suspects delivered the stolen phones to a cellphone store in Brooklyn.

The three are scheduled to make an initial appearance in federal court in Newark on Thursday afternoon.
