Officials say sensors that monitor energy usage, overcrowding, and whether a handicap-accessible entrance is blocked are being installed at the historic  Brooklyn Borough Hall.

The Daily News reports the monitoring system is part of a new pilot program involving the office of Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, the computer company Dell, and tech startup flowthings.io.

Officials say the information will be used for tech research in other cities.
