EAST NEW YORK — A CANADIAN REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT TRUST called Vital Infrastructure Property Trust announced on Thursday its acquisition of the East New York Health Hub, a 142,249-square-foot, seven-story medical outpatient facility at 101 Pennsylvania Ave. (at Atlantic Avenue) for $89.9 million (U.S.), according to TMX Newsfile.
The property is leased to AdvantageCare Physicians New York, a primary and specialty care network, and is home to healthcare providers including New York Cancer & Blood Specialists, Lenox Hill Radiology, New York Health, Advanced Dermatology and Quest Diagnostics.
The REIT says it aims to provide investors with access to a portfolio of high-quality international healthcare real estate infrastructure. It owns properties in North America, Brazil, Europe and Australia.
