  1. I bought my home on melba ct 2001..your article was perfect. As I was reading, it brought me back to the time we were looking for a home. Melba ct, tucked in between madoc and noel…we had fantastic neighbors and i Ioved hearing st James church bells..the people at marine pharmacy we so wonderful, it was surely like living in small town usa..

When sandy rolled in destroying so much.in her path..we felt the neighborhood died..all these skeletons of pilings of rising home appeared..
    Dirt, broken sidewalks, wooden
construction fences..it was depressing..we fixed our home, sold it and left the state….I sometimes wish we had kept our home, so we had a place for the family to gather…we had such a great life there..I loved.my home. On melba court..

    1. I liked the home with the ponies and pigeon coup. The home on Gerritsen that had ducks outside near the library. Going for a walk along the end around the point and seeing all the different birds. Seeing the sun rise over the Belt.
