FLATBUSH — POLICE ARE SEARCHING for two suspects in the violent robbery of a man at the Newkirk Avenue subway station. The incident took place on Sunday, June 14, around 4 a.m. The 41-year-old victim was on the southbound “Q” train platform when he was approached by the two unidentified men, who punched him multiple times and removed his backpack before fleeing. The victim refused medical attention at the scene. Police have released surveillance photos of the suspects.
