CITYWIDE — MANY OF NEW YORK CITY’S public hospitals with NYC Health + Hospitals have joined the city’s free, in-person and virtual tax preparation service, as part of the NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection’s free tax prep initiative.
The service is available for residents who earn $93,000 or less annually and file as a family, and for those who earn $65,000 or less annually and file as an individual or couple without dependents. NYC Free Tax Prep is also available at more than 100 other sites around the city. Call 311 or visit nyc.gov/TaxPrep to search for the most convenient site and learn more.
The following health sites in Brooklyn offer virtual or in-person free tax preparation: MetroPlusHealth at 2221 Church Ave.; NYC H+H/Gotham Health, Cumberland, 100 N. Portland Ave.; NYC H+H/Gotham Health, East New York, 2094 Pitkin Ave.; and NYC H+H/Kings County, at 451 Clarkson Ave.
