
EAST WILLIAMSBURG — TWO MEN WERE SHOT multiple times Friday morning around 2:38 a.m. at the Brooklyn Monarch nightclub on Meadow Street in East Williamsburg, and police are searching for the shooter. One victim, 33, sustained a gunshot wound to his thigh, and a second man sustained gunshot wounds to his left arm, left hip and left buttocks. The unidentified suspect fled.
Both victims were transported by private means to NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull in stable condition, police said. The suspect was shown in surveillance photos to be dark skinned, with hair in corn rows, last seen wearing a T-shirt bearing a picture of a shark.
