MILL BASIN – POLICE ARE SEEKING an unknown suspect who sexually assaulted an 18-year-old woman in Mill Basin last month.
At around 5 a.m. on Thursday, April 16, in a building near East 56th Street and Mill Lane, the teenager was raped by a man unknown to her, police said. The victim was able to flee her attacker and was brought to an area hospital for treatment.
Surveillance images released by police show the suspect to have a medium complexion and a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black ballcap, a black shirt, a blue t-shirt, black pants and black sneakers, as well as a black face mask.
