FULTON FERRY — ONE LANE IN BOTH DIRECTIONS on Old Fulton Street under the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway will continue to be closed on weeknights from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and Saturday from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. until the end of April, according to a release from the New York City Department of Transportation. During this time, one sidewalk will also be closed, and pedestrians will be directed to use the opposite sidewalk and to use caution.
The lane and sidewalk closures are required for the rehabilitation of the Staten Island-bound BQE over Old Fulton Street and are dependent on the weather and field conditions, according to NYCDOT.
