
CITYWIDE — THE MTA IS encouraging public transit use for the Sunday, May 4 Five Boro Bike Tour, as more than 32,000 cyclists are expected. Bike restrictions on LIRR and Metro-North will be lifted, and subway stations like Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall are recommended for bike access. The Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge’s lower level will close to Staten Island-bound traffic from 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
