BOROUGH HALL — DON’T BE ALARMED if you are near Brooklyn Borough Hall today (Wednesday, April 9) and hear the sounds of protest or even some “gunfire.” Dick Wolf Productions, the television company behind the “Law & Order” and “FBI” series, will be conducting an NYPD-supervised film shoot from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the steps of Borough Hall. Word has been shared with Civic Center staffers that there may be the sound of gunfire during the filming of a protest scene on the plaza, but not to worry, it’s all simulated.
According to the Mayor’s Office of Media & Entertainment, “Law and Order: Organized Crime” season 5; “Law and Order” season 24; “FBI” season 7; and “FBI: Most Wanted” season 6 are all filming in New York City at this time.
