The Nathan R. Sobel American Inns of Court held its annual Holiday Party at the Sheraton Hotel in Downtown Brooklyn on Monday. Approximately 60 members packed into the Avere Ristorante inside the hotel, where they shared drinks and dinner.
Everyone was impressed with the food and location, and only paused briefly to listen to a few words from Inns President Victoria Lombardi-Bodnar.
“I’d like to welcome everyone to our holiday party,” Lombardi-Bodnar said. “As the new president, I just want to say thank you all for making my first few months easy and fun. I really appreciate being your president. I have so many people to thank.”
Lombardi-Bodnar also took a moment to highlight the work that Lucy DiSalvo does for the bar association and gave her a gift certificate to show everyone’s appreciation.
“There is one person who we couldn’t get along without, who keeps us all organized, who sends out info for all of our programs and keeps us together basically — and that’s Lucy DiSalvo,” Lombardi-Bodnar said.

SUNSET PARK — “As a resident of Marine Park, one of the great surprises I found biking around Industry City and visiting Japan Village was to discover Bush Terminal Park. I continue to be amazed at the serene hideaways that the city offers in some of the busiest places — and, still, with an iconic view.”
