PROSPECT HEIGHTS — THE HISTORIC HENRY and Rose Pearlman Collection, which includes over 50 modern European works, will come to the Brooklyn Museum on Oct. 2 to April 2027.
The collection has been shared across the Brooklyn Museum, LACMA and MoMa, and it will be divided between the three institutions with 29 of the works going to the Brooklyn Museum. The fall exhibition, “Cézanne to Modigliani: Gifts of Modern Art from the Pearlman Collection,” will be the final full-collection exhibition of the works. In honor of the Pearlman family, the exhibition will feature a special focus on the Pearlmans, who heavily invested in Brooklyn and the Brooklyn Museum.
The exhibition will feature works from Cézanne, Degas, Gauguin, Manet, Modigliani, Pissarro, Soutine, Toulouse-Lautrec, Van Gogh and others.
