BROOKLYN HEIGHTS — Police have released a surveillance photo of an unidentified man who allegedly assaulted a 34-year-old woman in front of 1 Clinton St. in Brooklyn Heights around 10 a.m. on Election Day, Nov. 4.
The suspect approached the woman and punched her in the face, then fled the location on foot, according to a police spokesperson. The victim sustained a broken tooth and swelling to the left side of her face.
The location is the site of a luxury residential tower, One Clinton, at the intersection of Tillary Street, and the block includes a Brooklyn Roasting Company coffee shop and a District 13 STEM center; the Brooklyn Heights Library is on the Cadman Plaza West side of the building. The library acted as a polling place that day and was particularly busy.

The suspect is described as having a dark complexion, and was last seen wearing white headphones, a multi-colored skullcap, black vest, black jacket and dark green cargo pants. The surveillance photo shows the skullcap covered with numerous skulls in camo colors.
