
BROOKLYN – THE BROOKLYN CHILDREN’S MUSEUM is hosting a celebration of the annual Latin American Day of the Dead this Saturday, Nov. 1. The museum plans to offer family-friendly workshops, including on Mexican dance and Guatemalan kite-making, as well as bilingual puppet shows and a community ofrenda altar.
In addition, Green-Wood Cemetery will be hosting its annual celebrations, which feature live music and dance, creative activities, and complimentary snacks; a community altar will also be present nearby in Sunset Park, after 1 p.m., along with dancing and celebrations.
