
DOWNTOWN— POLICE ARE SEARCHING for a man who allegedly slashed a 31-year-old male victim aboard a southbound A train approaching the Hoyt/Schermerhorn station in Downtown Brooklyn on Friday at roughly 4:23 p.m.
The suspect approached the victim and began a dispute, then displayed a knife and slashed the victim on the left side of his arm and head. He then fled the station, police said.
EMS transported the victim to One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition. The suspect is described as having a dark complexion and was last seen wearing a black hat, blue pants and a black sweater.
