CLINTON HILL — THE NYPD IS REQUESTING the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect linked to an attempted robbery in Clinton Hill.
Around 7:20 a.m. on Jan. 8, an unidentified individual was caught stealing mail and packages in an apartment lobby near Fulton Street and Washington Avenue. When a 49-year-old woman attempted to intervene and prevent the theft, the suspect bit her hand before fleeing in a gold BMW SUV. The victim declined medical treatment.
The suspect is described as female with a dark complexion, last seen wearing a yellow coat, black boots and a white headwrap.
