CROWN HEIGHTS — A NEW CANNABIS DISPENSARY in Crown Heights is holding its grand opening at noon on Friday, July 17, featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony with local officials, music and promotions. Founded by Jean Gordon and Paul Dorestant, Transcend Wellness at 772 Nostrand Ave. is a “Brooklyn-born and bred, Black-owned business built on the belief that cannabis should be approachable, educational, and rooted in wellness,” founders Jean Gordon and Paul Dorestant said in a release.
The dispensary says one of its distinguishing features is a “Mood-Based Shopping Experience,” based on a customer’s desired experience — whether they want to feel focused, energized, creative, relaxed or inspired.
