
PROSPECT HEIGHTS — THE BROOKLYN MUSEUM announced its public programming for July, including several live music performances.
On the afternoons of Sunday, July 12, and Sunday, July 26, the Summer Jazz series brings free performances from musicians Beareather Reddy and Terrance Simien to the museum’s lobby. The Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra will also play for free on Sunday, July 19.
“Iris van Herpen: Sculpting the Senses” will have a baby-friendly stroller tour before the museum opens at 10 a.m. on July 22 and 29.
Museum on Wheels, Brooklyn Museum’s mobile museum initiative, will come to Coney Island on Saturday, July 25, for City of Water Day, which will have programming along the waterfront of the city and parts of Westchester and New Jersey.
