
PROSPECT PARK – A WOMAN WAS able to defend herself against a sexual assault in Prospect Park earlier this month, but police are still searching for the attempted attacker.
At around 7 p.m. on Friday, May 8, the woman, age 26, was walking inside Prospect Park when an unknown man approached her from behind and wrapped his arms around her. He then tried to sexually assault her while exposing himself, but the victim managed to separate herself from him. He then fled the scene, leaving her uninjured.
The suspect is described as around 5’8” with a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black shorts and a black baseball cap.
