
BED-STUY — AN AFFORDABLE HOUSING LOTTERY opened for a six-story residential building at 584 Gates Ave., offering nine rent-stabilized apartments, according to New York YIMBY.
The 28-unit building, designed by Gino Longo and developed by Joel Schwartz, offers one-bedroom apartments priced at $3,700 a month for households earning 130% of the area’s median income. Eligible incomes range from $135,360 to $189,540.
Amenities include an elevator, gym, shared laundry room, outdoor terrace and gated access. Units feature air conditioning, energy-efficient appliances and private patios or balconies. Tenants pay electricity, including heat and hot water.
