
GRAVESEND — POLICE ARE SEARCHING for a driver who struck two NYPD officers with a car in Gravesend during an early-morning Tuesday traffic stop, News 12 reports.
The incident occurred just before 4:40 a.m. Dec. 16 at West 8th Street and Quentin Road, when officers exited their patrol vehicle and approached another car. Surveillance video shows the driver reversing, seeming to hit the officers, and speeding away.
One officer fell to the ground as the vehicle, described as a gray Mercedes C300, took off eastbound on Quentin Road. Police said one officer suffered minor leg injuries and the other sustained minor injuries to his foot.
Police are asking anyone with information or video to contact investigators.
