BROOKLYN HEIGHTS — COMEDIAN AND ACTRESS Amy Schumer has sold her historic Cranberry Street home for $11 million, $1.25 million less than it was purchased for, according to 6sqft.
Schumer and her husband, chef Chris Fischer, bought the Federal-style home at 19 Cranberry St. for $12.25 million in 2022. The couple first listed the 19th-century townhouse for $14 million in March, but cut the price by $1.25 million in July after the property spent months on the market. The buyer was an LLC linked to writer and producer Michael Saltzman, records show.
Built in 1829 and later updated with a mansard roof, the four-story, 5,500-square-foot home is best known as the exterior of the Castorini family house in the 1987 film “Moonstruck.” It includes five bedrooms, preserved historic details, a landscaped garden and a full-floor primary suite.
