
BENSONHURST — The southern Brooklyn communities will gather Thursday morning, Sept. 11, to pay tribute to the lives lost during the 9/11 attacks and the first responders and community members who survived helped New York rebuild in the aftermath. City Councilmember Susan Zhuang and Assemblymember William Colton will host the 9/11 service at Seth Low Park in Bensonhurst. The program will include color guards; the Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem that students from I.S. 96 Seth Low will lead; interfaith prayers; keynote speakers; and a moment of silence. Local leaders and community partners will also be recognized for their continued dedication to honoring the memory of 9/11.
Keynote speakers will include representatives from the NYPD 62nd Precinct.
