RED HOOK — Velto Pickleball Club signed a 10-year lease for 14,000 square feet at 160 Van Brunt St., at $30 per square foot, the Real Deal reports, in a deal brokered by Tri State Commercial’s Eddie Keda. The space will feature five courts with a $1 million buildout.
160 Van Brunt was formerly the home of the Goltens New York ship engine repair shop, which closed in 2014 amid the decline of Red Hook’s maritime industry. Today, following a redevelopment by LIVWRK and FM Capital, the building houses a Tesla dealership, among other tenants.
