MONTAGUE STREET — This historic four-block main street in Brooklyn Heights literally “went to the dogs” on Sunday. The Brooklyn Heights Association hosted its popular annual dog show, organized by event chairs Grace Flintermann and Hannah Godfredson-Prince. They both served as judges for the dog show, aided by Meredith Bluestine and Sunny Sharkey.
The event was co-sponsored by the Brooklyn Daily Eagle and the De Niro Team at Douglas Elliman Real Estate. Quinn Ferree, a member of the De Niro Team, served as emcee for the event.

The beloved dog show was born in 2009 and continued until 2015. For unexplained reasons, possibly staffing issues, the event did not take place again until 2024 with the help of more volunteers. This year, active volunteers included Isha Rana and Megan Vincent, as well as the judges and emcee. This year was also the first time the event had commercial sponsorship.
