BROOKLYN HEIGHTS — MODERN townhouses led Brooklyn’s luxury market last week, as two standout properties secured the borough’s top contracts, according to Compass and the Real Deal.
The priciest was 17 Willow Pl. in Brooklyn Heights, asking $10 million. Designed by Robert Kahn and completed in 2012, the 4,600-square-foot home features a historic facade, wood and gas fireplaces, a private garden and a curved staircase. It was listed by Joan Goldberg of Brown Harris Stevens.
In Williamsburg, 218 North Fifth St. took second place with a $7.25 million contract. Originally listed at nearly $8 million, the 2013 home, 4,500-square-foot home has four outdoor spaces, two garages, and a wood-burning fireplace. Todd Lewin of Compass and Michael Rubin represented the seller.
