
PROSPECT LEFFERTS GARDENS — POLICE ARE LOOKING FOR a man suspected of robbing a cell phone store at gunpoint at 5:10 p.m. on Sunday, July 12.
According to authorities, the man allegedly entered a T-Mobile store at 1037 Nostrand Ave. in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, displayed a firearm to the 23-year-old male store employee and demanded money. Police said he removed approximately $5,000 and took a cellphone before fleeing. No one was hurt as a result of this incident.
Surveillance photos show a suspect with dark skin and slim to medium build, last seen wearing black pants, a long-sleeve black shirt topped by a short-sleeve gray shirt, a black head covering and black sunglasses.
