CROWN HEIGHTS – A POLICE OFFICER was shot, apparently by friendly fire, during a confrontation early Sunday morning, Spectrum News reports, and is recovering.
The incident unfolded at around 4:30 a.m. near Nostrand Avenue and St. John’s Place. The suspect, an 18-year-old man, was caught and Tased several blocks away, and has been arrested. Police said they recovered the gun and that he had confronted several others with it.
