
SUNSET PARK — A FREE WORLD CUP watch party and community event will take place on Thursday from 2-7 p.m. at MADE Bush Terminal on the Sunset Park waterfront, 13 42nd St., courtesy of the New York City Economic Development Corporation.
The soccer celebration will feature live indoor viewing of the Ecuador vs. Germany match and outdoor programming in the Building A plaza, including DJ sets, food vendors, soccer-inspired kids activities and lawn games, screen printing and tabling by community-based organizations. The soccer match kickoff begins at 4 p.m.
The event is one of more than 100 free World Cup watch parties the city is hosting this summer.
