DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — THE DIRECTOR OF ADMISSIONS at Brooklyn Law School Katherine Zhang will present vital information for those who have an interest in attending law school.
The latest in a series of workshops sponsored by The Izetta Johnson Internship Empowerment Program and Summer Youth Employment Program, the presentation is slated to take place July 29 at 320 Jay St. Zhang will discuss the registration and admission process, tuition and financial aid, an array of experiential learning opportunities, and other options students have to pursue their passions outside the classroom, such as student organizations, health and wellness programs, and social activities.
Zhang is known for her outreach to prospective students, including first-generation applicants. According to Zhang, being the first in one’s family to pursue higher education or law should not be a barrier, and support systems are in place to help students succeed.
