
FORT GREENE — ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 24, seven short films will be screened in Fort Greene Park for “Queerly Beloved: Pride Shorts in the Park.” The short films, which include several international films, highlight Queer stories from around the world. There will be a Q&A with some of the filmmakers following the screenings.
Fort Greene Conservancy will give away over 100 free Queer books donated by several publishers, and the nearby Walt Whitman Library will have a selection of books available for check-out.
The park’s Central Lawn will open at 7 p.m. and the screenings will start around 8:45 p.m. Seating is first come, first serve. RSVPs on the Fort Greene Conservancy website are encouraged but not required.
