SUNSET PARK – A WOMAN PASSED away after being rescued from the East River in Sunset Park on Saturday, News 12 reports.
Police responding to a 911 call at around 5:50 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, arrived at Bush Terminal Piers Park, discovered the woman, age 29, in the water, and pulled her out, in critical condition. She later was declared dead at NYU Langone Hospital.
Authorities have not yet released the woman’s name or cause of death, although sources told News 12 that police don’t suspect criminality.
