
PROSPECT HEIGHTS — Brooklyn Museum released its March programming lineup, including its beloved “First Saturday” program and World Water Day workshops.
Throughout the month, the museum offers special events alongside its exhibitions targeting families, teens and more. The museum’s March edition of “ First Saturday” takes place on March 7 from 5 to 10 p.m. and celebrates Women’s History Month through music, art making, poetry and more.
Acclaimed author and illustrator Oliver Jeffers’ exhibition “Life At Sea” is featured for a special World Water Day workshop on Saturday, March 21, and Sunday, March 22. Representatives from the Pacific Island Film Festival, National Geographic and the Laura Beya Collective will lead the family-friendly workshops.
On Sunday, March 15, Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra performs on the museum’s third floor from 2 to 4 p.m. Other events include a poetry workshop, sketch club and teen night.
