
BENSONHURST – NEARLY 60 STUDENTS from New Utrecht High School recently visited Wil-Roc Farms dairy in Kinderhook, New York, for an immersive experience in agricultural science, reports Morning AgClips. Coordinated by the American Dairy Association North East, the tour highlighted modern technology, sustainability efforts used in dairy farming, and agricultural career paths, with farm hosts Cody Williams and Kaitlyn Handy tying their experiences to the students’ STEM curriculum.
Students interacted with advanced farm equipment, including milking systems, automated tractors and cow “pedometers.”
