The 155-year-old LICH had been stripped of its assets, closed and sold to a developer by former Gov. Cuomo in 2014 amid protests.

The lot previously housed a parking garage for the campus of Long Island College Hospital, which closed in 2014.

The property spans 363-365 Hicks St., 97 Amity St. and 340 Henry St. Rockrose previously paid $65 million for nearby 91-95 Pacific St.

DR. MICHAEL LUCCHESI, 67, former chief medical officer at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, has admitted stealing approximately $1.44 million.

Simon’s LICH Act passes Assembly, requiring notice before hospital closures; aims to protect maternity, mental health, and addiction care.

Despite all-out efforts, Gov. Kathy Hochul on Friday vetoed a bill aiming to reform the way the state closes hospitals.

Assemblymember Jo Anne Simon (D-Cobble Hill, Brooklyn Heights) has been working since 2015 to reform the way the state closes hospitals.
