CLINTON HILL — TWO HORSES arrived at the Pratt Institute School of Art on Monday for the college’s longstanding figure-drawing event, now in its third decade, ABC7 reports.
Students and community members spent the day sketching, painting and photographing the animals on campus as part of a one-day exercise organized by the art school to broaden approaches to figure work beyond the human form. The tradition has drawn participants from varied disciplines and neighborhoods for more than 20 years.
Pratt is one of only two art schools in the country that also maintains an equestrian club.
