GREENPOINT — A CORNER WINE bar at 148 Noble St. has shut down for good as its co-owner looks to hand off the space to a new operator, Greenpointers reported Feb. 9. The Noble, opened in late 2023 by Itir Aloba and Rick Curi, briefly closed in 2024 to restructure before reopening with a revised menu centered on Greek and Turkish dishes.
Curi told Greenpointers he closed because he did not have the time needed to dedicate to The Noble. He is now marketing the restaurant to prospective tenants for a long-term lease and said there is “already interest from experienced industry pros.”
Curi said he will not reopen during the search, adding, “The business was loved by so many, and it was my pleasure getting to know and serve so many wonderful people from the area.”
