Good morning! Residents say they’ve been left with more questions than answers on the Gowanus Canal’s cleanup and the neighborhood’s looming rezoning. Tensions boiled over at a recent meetingbetween locals and city officials. “The city was being defensive [and] dismissive,” said one attendee. “People in the audience are armed with a lot of information, but they don’t seem to respect that.” Another said, “There is a lot of mistrust towards the city.”
