    CityPickle has revealed their plans for a temporar CityPickle has revealed their plans for a temporary, 60,000-square-foot sports and recreation concession at the Brooklyn Bridge’s Anchorage Plaza in DUMBO.

The site, which will be called “CityPickle Brooklyn Bridge,” will feature 11 pickleball courts, curated food trucks, bike racks, public green space and shaded seating areas with games like chess, along with space for community programming.

    Crowds in Brooklyn Bridge Park and in DUMBO watche Crowds in Brooklyn Bridge Park and in DUMBO watched in shock as the stately ARM Cuauhtémoc, a three-masted Mexican Navy training ship on a goodwill visit to New York City, slammed stern-first into the Brooklyn Bridge at roughly 8:39 p.m. Saturday. 

The crash broke the tops of three light-bedecked masts, injuring numerous crew members and killing two. The boat carries a crew of more than 200.
