    The late Jane Walentas was honored on Tuesday with The late Jane Walentas was honored on Tuesday with a street renamed in her honor. The visionary behind Jane’s Carousel helped transform DUMBO from a neglected industrial area into the cultural destination it is today.

“Today is a special day, but it’s bittersweet,” said Jane’s husband David Walentas. “We were together more than 50 years. Jane was the love of my life.”
