Woman’s phone robbed in cell phone store

BUSHWICK — POLICE SAID A 27-YEAR-OLD WOMAN was inside a wireless phone store at 917 Broadway in Bushwick when she was approached by an unidentified man who simulated that he was in possession of a weapon and forcibly removed her cell phone. The suspect then fled on a moped northbound on Broadway. The robbery took place on Thursday, March 6, at around 2:30 p.m., and the victim was uninjured. The suspect is described as having a medium complexion and was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, gray sweatpants and white sneakers.
