DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — Alloy Development announced the second phase of the Alloy Block in Downtown Brooklyn and the tallest Passive House building in the world, One Third Avenue. Rising to 725 feet, the 63-story mixed-use tower will be situated on the westernmost portion of the Alloy Block and will include market-rate and affordable housing, retail and commercial office space.

One Third Avenue will complete the Alloy Block, a mixed-use development designed by Alloy that includes New York City’s first all-electric skyscraper and first two public schools designed to meet Passive House standards.

“One Third Avenue will raise the bar for sustainable urban development,” said Alloy CEO Jared Della Valle. “Developing a Passive House building at this scale will be incredibly challenging, but the payoff will be significant with high quality living that remains environmentally friendly and energy efficient. The second phase of the Alloy Block will demonstrate new possibilities to the industry and stand as an example of a solution that helps stall climate change.”
