$60K of equipment stolen from Atlantic-Barclays subway

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN – ON FRIDAY, DEC. 27, 2024, at around 3 a.m., an unidentified individual used a circular saw to cut the locks on a mechanical box on the northbound D/N/R train platform at the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center subway station. The thief then removed electronic equipment valued at approximately $60,000 from the box, and fled the station to parts unknown.
