Hannibal Buress to open Isola Brooklyn in former Knitting Factory space

WILLIAMSBURG – COMEDIAN HANNIBAL BURESS has announced the grand opening of Isola Brooklyn, a new performance space at 361 Metropolitan Ave., formerly the home of the Williamsburg Knitting Factory venue, reports Brooklyn Vegan.
The launch event on Sunday, March 9, will feature Buress performing music and comedy, along with special guests. The venue will host weekly comedy nights like Isola Sundays and a monthly music-comedy hybrid, Eshu Tuesdays.
Buress was ready to finally open the space after delays, saying, “I’m excited to move past construction and start putting on events.”
