DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — TENNESSEE WILLIAMS’S iconic play “A Streetcar Named Desire” will run from Feb. 28 to April 6 this spring at BAM’s Harvey Theater. The Almeida Theatre production stars Oscar nominee Paul Mescal (“Gladiator II,” “Aftersun”), alongside Patsy Ferran and Anjana Vasan, under the direction of Olivier Award-winner Rebecca Frecknall (“Cabaret”).

Fresh off sold-out runs in England, this revival explores Blanche DuBois’s unraveling reality amid the oppressive heat of New Orleans. Mescal’s performance has been praised for its “swagger and sensitivity” (New York Times).

Matinees were added due to demand. Tickets start at $35, with BAM member discounts through Jan. 6.
