
NYPD links three-car crash in East New York to medical episode

EAST NEW YORK — A THREE-CAR CRASH on Tuesday afternoon was reportedly caused by one vehicle’s young female driver losing consciousness behind the wheel at the intersection of Montauk and Sutter avenues, police said.
After the driver lost control, witnesses said, the vehicle sped at “100 miles an hour” before colliding with an Arizona iced tea box truck and a parked car, flipping midair and landing on its wheels, according to News 12.
Three people injured in the crash were taken to Brookdale Hospital, with authorities confirming no critical injuries. Police continue investigating the incident.
