NYPD seeks suspect in knife-point robbery on Flatbush Avenue

MARINE PARK — THE NYPD IS ASKING for the public’s help in identifying a man suspected in a robbery that occurred in broad daylight in Marine Park.

The incident happened on Tuesday, Jan. 7, at approximately 3:15 p.m. in front of 2472 Flatbush Avenue, nearby the Kings Plaza Shopping Center. According to police, an unknown man approached a 33-year-old man, brandished a knife, and forcibly took the victim’s headphones and watch. The thief then fled northbound on Flatbush Avenue. The victim was not injured.

Authorities have released images of a suspect and are offering a reward of up to $3,500 for information leading to his arrest.
