Dumbo Market snags old CVS space on Upper East Side

DUMBO & MANHATTAN — THE BROOKLYN-BASED supermarket brand Dumbo Market has grabbed a 12,000-square-foot Upper East Side corner space previously occupied by a CVS drugstore at 1223 Second Avenue, according to the New York Post. Dumbo Market leased the property from owner Regency Centers. The market is a popular and ritzy chain, with established locations on Front Street in DUMBO and Smith Street in Boerum Hill.
In addition to the existing locations and the soon-to-be Manhattan outpost, the company has also leased a space in Hunter’s Point, Queens.
