
Brooklyn man arrested for drive-by shooting in Binghamton

BINGHAMTON & BROOKLYN — A 20-YEAR-OLD Brooklynite has been arrested over a February 2024 drive-by shooting outside of the Mirabito Stadium in Binghamton, New York. Law enforcement alleges that the suspect, Tayshon Smith, fired from a vehicle at another 20-year-old man, Qualyn Terry, killing him; Smith has been charged with second-degree murder.
Smith was found in Chesterfield, Virginia, on Jan. 7, and detained at the behest of the Binghamton Police, the U.S. Marshals and the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force according to a WBNG report on Monday. He is currently awaiting extradition.
